Edit the Depth Chart

During planning, you can edit and update the depth chart to specify the candidates or contacts who are qualified for the position and may be called upon to fill that position if an incident occurs.

To add a contact
  1. Point to Planning and select Plan Summary. The Summary for (domain/facility name) page opens.

  2. Select the appropriate domain or facility from Summary for.

  3. On the left, select the appropriate position.

  4. Open the Depth Chart drawer.

  5. Click Add.

  6. To view all contacts in a health system, select the Show all Health System Contacts check box.

  7. To search for a contact, enter the name in the Search Contacts window and click the magnifying glass icon.

  8. Select the contacts you want to add to the depth chart.

  9. Click Save.

To remove a contact
  1. Point to Planning and select Plan Summary. The Summary for (domain/facility name) page opens.

  2. Select the appropriate domain or facility from Summary for.

  3. On the left, select the appropriate position.

  4. Open the Depth Chart drawer.

  5. Select the contact you want to remove.

  6. Click Remove.
