Local Servers

Before you begin creating a Dual Commit server for the remote board function, you must have the URL of the host server, the URL of the user account, and board information. You must also determine which groups on the local server are to have access to the remote boards.

To create a Dual Commit server for the remote board function
  1. In the Admin window, go to Process: Dual Commit. The Dual Commit page opens.

  2. Click Add Server.

  3. On the Dual Commit Server: Add Dual Commit Server page, enter the server name.

  4. Enter the URL of the host server.

  5. For Organization, enter the organization name provided by the administrator of the host server.

    Note: If WebEOC is installed locally, the organization name is EOC Professional. If your WebEOC is hosted by Intermedix, contact the Support Center for the appropriate organization information.

  6. For Username, enter the username provided to you by the administrator of the host server.

  7. For Password, enter the password provided to you by the administrator of the host server.

  8. For Confirm Password, re-enter the password.

  9. Enter the position of the user account provided to you by the administrator of the host server.

  10. Click Save.

  11. From the list of Dual Commit servers, click the server you just created.

  12. On the Edit Dual Commit Server page, to verify communication with the host server, click Test Connection. Login Successful should appear in the Admin window.

  13. Click the Back button.
