Manage Occupant Seat Information

Use the Advanced Crash Notification subsection to document occupant seat information.

Add Occupant Seat Information

Document the location of your patients if they were involved in a multiple vehicle collision (MVC). Knowing where a patient was sitting at the time of the crash can not only help you determine potential injuries, but it can also help law enforcement or officials in the future if the crash is investigated.

To add occupant seat information in Windows
  1. In the side navigation of an open run record, tap Trauma. The section expands to show the available subsections.

  2. Tap Advanced Crash Notification.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and, under the Occupant Seat Information heading, tap the Seat Location field.

  4. Select the appropriate seat location.

  5. Select the Seat Belt Used, Airbag Deployed, and Seat Occupied check boxes as applicable.

  6. Tap Add. The occupant seat information appears in the table.

To add occupant seat information in Web
  1. In the side navigation of an open run record, click Trauma. The General Information subsection is displayed.

  2. Go to the Advanced Crash Notification subsection and click Add Seat Information. A new row opens in the seat information table.

  3. Enter information in the fields.

Edit or Delete Occupant Seat Information

To edit or delete occupant seat information in Windows
  1. In the side navigation of an open run record, tap Trauma. The section expands to show the available subsections.

  2. Tap Advanced Crash Notification.

  3. Go to the occupant seat table and tap the appropriate entry's corresponding Edit button.

  4. Make your changes.

  5. Tap Edit.

To delete occupant seat information, tap the appropriate entry's corresponding Delete button.

To edit or delete occupant seat information in Web
  1. In the side navigation of the open run record, click Trauma. The General Information subsection is displayed.

  2. Go to the Advanced Crash Notification subsection.

  3. In the seat information table, click the field you want to edit.

  4. Make your changes. 

To delete occupant seat information, click the appropriate entry's corresponding trash can icon.
