Manage Crew Members

From the Incident section, you can add, edit, and delete crew members to accurately report who responded to the call. When adding crew members, you can also specify who is the report owner and, in turn, the writer of the report. Knowing who owns the record helps to restrict viewing to necessary parties and gives administrators a point of contact if there are corrections or addenda required later on, after the run is reviewed.

Note: You can manage default crew settings to automatically populate the crew member table on the Incidents: Crew page.

Add Crew Members

For new reports, the first Member field automatically populates with the name of the paramedic logged in, or the name of the user who created the run. Additionally, the first Response Role field populates with Primary Patient Caregiver or Primary Patient Caregiver-At Scene and Primary Patient Caregiver-Transport for the medic who created the record.

To add a crew member in Windows
  1. In the side navigation of an open run record, tap Incident. The section expands to show the available subsections.

  2. If not already selected, tap Crew.

  3. Tap in the Member field and select the crew member to add to the report.

  4. For Response Role, select all roles that apply to the crew member.

  5. Tap OK.

  6. If the crew member is the owner of the run report, select the Owner check box.

  7. Tap Add. The crew member appears in the table.
