Activate TripTix Windows

Once you have completed the installation of TripTix Windows, you must activate the software and authenticate with your department to start recording patient data in the system. You can activate the application by one of two methods: self-authorization or remote authorization. No matter which method you choose, you must have an active Internet connection to successfully complete the activation process.

To activate TripTix Windows by self-authorization

Note: You must have the Device Management group associated with your account in TripTix CDX to use this method of activation.

  1. Double-click the TripTix Windows shortcut on your Desktop. The TripTix Windows Authorization window opens.

  2. Using the fields in the Self Authorization section of the window, for Username, enter the username you use to access TripTix Windows.

  3. For Password, enter the password you use to access TripTix Windows.

  4. Click LOG IN.

To activate TripTix Windows by remote authorization
  1. Double-click the TripTix Windows shortcut on your Desktop. The TripTix Windows Authorization window opens.

  2. Note the Device Serial Number listed below the first field in the Remote Authorization section.

  3. Call Support at 888-735-9559 and state that you need to authorize an installation of TripTix Windows.

  4. Obtain an Authentication Code from Support.

  5. Enter the Authentication Code in the field above the Device Serial Number.

  6. Click LOG IN.

No matter which method you used to log in, TripTix Windows immediately begins downloading department information upon log in. After this department-specific data is downloaded, you are taken to the general log in page. From there, you can proceed with logging in to TripTix Windows and begin entering run records.
