Bluetooth Philips Monitor EKG Transfers

If your Philips MRx monitor does not have a wireless link you can import data from the monitor into TripTix via Bluetooth.

To transfer data from a Philips MRx monitor to TripTix Windows via Bluetooth
  1. Turn on the MRx device and press the i button.

  2. Use the up and down arrows to highlight Data Management, and then press the check mark button.

  3. When the confirmation window opens, press the check mark button again.

    Note: This action closes monitoring mode.

  4. Use the up and down arrows to highlight Bluetooth Device.

  5. Use the down arrows to navigate to the bottom of the list, highlighting Add Device.

  6. Press the check mark button and wait as the MRx searches for Bluetooth devices.

  7. As the MRx searches for devices, open the appropriate run in TripTix Windows.

  8. Tap the EKG button.

  9. If prompted, tap Philips MRx Monitor.

  10. Returning to the monitor, use the arrows to select your device’s serial number and then press the check mark button.

  11. When prompted, use the arrow buttons to select the PIN you want to use and then press the check mark button.

  12. Highlight the Done button and then press the check mark button.

  13. Enter the selected PIN on your Toughbook.

  14. The MRx will prompt for a transmission test. When it does, highlight File Transfer and then press the check mark button.

  15. Once completed, a success message appears. Press the check mark button to acknowledge this message and then exit the Bluetooth Device List menu.

  16. Use the Prev Item and Next Item buttons to highlight the case you want to transfer.

  17. Open the menu by pressing the check mark button.

  18. Use the up and down arrows to select Send and then press the check mark button.

  19. Select data for transfer as appropriate, following prompts.

  20. Select your TripTix device’s serial number and then press the check mark.

Your monitor will connect and begin to transfer the selected case data. The MRx monitor will not prompt you when the transfer is complete. Instead, you are automatically returned to the Data Management screen; this signals that data has been transferred.

Refresh TripTix Windows to ensure the case has been received. When received successfully, you can open the case and select the items for import into the ePCR as applicable.
