Manage Pre-Arrival Activations

From the Destination section, you can indicate whether you had to notify the receiving facility of a stroke alert, cardiac arrest, STEMI alert, or other related pre-arrival activation. Documenting this key information can help with future analysis and statistics regarding the continuation or transfer of care.

To add a pre-arrival activation in Windows
  1. In the side navigation of an open run record, tap Destination. The section expands to show the available subsections.

  2. Tap In-Transit Care.

  3. Under the Destination Team Pre-arrival Activation heading, tap in the Team field and select the appropriate team from the list. If needed, begin typing the name of the team in the filter field to narrow the list of teams.

  4. For Date, select the appropriate date of the activation. To populate the field with the current date, tap Today.

  5. Tap OK.

  6. Tap in the Time field and select the appropriate time of the activation. To populate the field with the current time, tap Now.

  7. Tap OK.

  8. Tap Add. The activation appears in the activations table.

To add a pre-arrival activation in Web
  1. In the side navigation of an open run record, click Destination. The Location subsection is displayed.

  2. Go to the In Transit Care subsection and click Add Team. A new row opens in the activations table.

  3. Enter information in the fields.

To edit or delete a pre-arrival activation in Windows
  1. In the side navigation of an open run record, tap Destination. The section expands to show the available subsections.

  2. Tap In-Transit Care.

  3. Go to the activations table and tap the appropriate activation's corresponding Edit button.

  4. Make your changes.

To delete an activation, tap the appropriate activation's corresponding Delete button.

To edit or delete a pre-arrival activation in Web
  1. In the side navigation of an open run record, click Destination. The Location subsection is displayed. 

  2. Go to the In Transit Care subsection.

  3. In the activations table, click in the field you want to edit and make your changes.

To delete an activation, click the appropriate activation's corresponding trash can icon.
