Manage User System Notifications

The System Notification Preferences for (user) page allows you to specify how this user should be notified when specific system-related events occur. For details on automated alerts and notifications, refer to Notifications: Types.

To manage system notification preferences for a user
  1. From any page, open the Setup menu in the main navigation bar and click Users. The Users List opens.

  2. Locate the user and click the Edit link. The Edit User page opens.

  3. In the User Preferences section, click System Notification Preferences link. The System Notification Preferences for (user) page opens.

  4. For each Notification Type, select the check box for the Notification Methods you want to enable (for example, E-mail, Text Pager, or Web Page).

  5. Click Save.
