Export State Data

In addition to exporting NEMSIS files, DOH Administrators have the option to export state data by events, demographic data, and state data sets.

To export state data by events
  1. From any page, go to Records Exchange: State Exports. The State Exports page opens.

  2. Click Export State Data.

  3. In the Export State Data window, for Type, select Event Data as the data type you want to export.
    The Type you select determines the fields that must be completed in the rest of the window. A blue "important" message appears above the fields, indicating the event start and end dates for the export. By default, the dates are based on the Unit Notified By Dispatch Date/Time of the call. You can change this setting by going to Administration: System Settings: Other: Export Data.

  4. Select the start date.

  5. Select the end date.

  6. From the Version drop-down list, select the appropriate NEMSIS version.

  7. Enter the email address that the exported data should be sent to.

  8. Click Schedule.

To export state data by demographic data
  1. From any page, go to Records Exchange: State Exports. The State Exports page opens.

  2. Click Export State Data.

  3. In the Export State Data window, for Type, select Demographic Data as the data type you want to export. The Type you select determines the fields that must be completed in the rest of the window.

  4. From the Version drop-down list, select the appropriate NEMSIS version.

  5. Enter the email address that the exported data should be sent to.

  6. Click Schedule.

To export state data by state data sets
  1. From any page, go to Records Exchange: State Exports. The State Exports page opens.

  2. Click Export State Data.

  3. In the Export State Data window, for Type, select State Data Set as the data type you want to export. The Type you select determines the fields that must be completed in the rest of the window.

  4. Enter the email address that the exported data should be sent to.

  5. Click Schedule.

Note: The state data set is exported in real time and is not date specific.
