Configure Quick Events

The Quick Events toolbar in TripTix Windows allows user to quickly add the most common events to a run without requiring multi-step navigation. Although there are default events in this bar, it may be of your department's interest to customize these buttons with your department's most frequently added events, of which may be different than the defaults. Follow the procedures below to configure the Quick Events toolbar and update this configuration as needed.

To add events to the Quick Events toolbar
  1. From any page, go to Administration: Clinical Settings: Quick Events.

  2. To add an event, click any blank blue button. The Quick Event window opens.

  3. For Event Type, select the type of event that you want represented on this button.

  4. For Event Detail, select the specific event type, if applicable.

  5. For Button Label, enter the text that should appear on the button if different from Event Detail.

  6. Click Ok.

  7. To commit these changes so they appear in TripTix Windows, click Commit Modifications.

To change the events seen in the Quick Events toolbar
  1. From any page, go to Administration: Clinical Settings: Quick Events.

  2. To edit an event, click the button for the event you want to modify.

  3. In the Quick Event window, change the Event Type, Event Detail, or Button Label as applicable.

  4. Click Ok.

  5. To commit these changes so they appear in TripTix Windows, click Commit Modifications.
